Redstone Lake

Picture of lake with calm rolling waves and clear sky

Redstone Lake is the third largest of Haliburton’s lakes. It remains relatively quiet compared to other lakes in the area, as there are no marinas nor commercial establishments and it has lower cottage density. With its picturesque views, a mix of shallow sandy and deep rocky shorelines and very deep center it is a great lake for all the water activities you enjoy. Through a short channel you can access Little Redstone, and from there you can take a leisurely cruise up the Pelaw River to both Lower and Upper Pelaw Lakes – a perfect spot for kayaking or canoeing. A portage trail (and a snowmobile trail) will take you to Guilford Lake if you’re looking for an adventure.

This 4-lake system is great for the angler offering lake trout (including the prehistoric Haliburton Gold lake trout) and small and large mouth bass.

Redstone Lake, being part of the Canadian Shield is one of the most spectacular lakes with many bays, soaring cliffs, gorgeous sand beaches and it’s dotted with many islands. Near the headwaters of the Trent System, the water is very clean. It sits next to Haliburton Forest and Wildlife which offers a plethora of activities for all 4 seasons.

Just a 30 minute drive to Haliburton for lots of restaurants and supplies, Redstone is a great option for those looking for seclusion and peaceful cottaging, yet close enough to all amenities.

Redstone Lake is next to our Chestnut Park Office. We know the lake and we can not only help our Buyers find their dream cottage but also work closely with cottage owners who are deciding what improvements will get them the best return on their dollar when the time comes to sell.
