Redstone Lake

Redstone Lake is one of Haliburton’s larger lakes, but remains relatively quiet compared to other lakes in the area. With its picturesque views, shallow shorelines but deep center it is a great lake for all the water activities you enjoy. Through a short channel you can access little Redstone, which is great for fishing both lake trout and smallmouth bass, and from there you can take a leisurely cruise up the Pelaw River to both Lower and Upper Pelaw Lakes – a perfect spot for kayaking or canoeing. A portage trail (and a snowmobile trail) will take you to Guilford Lake if you’re looking for an adventure.

Redstone Lake is one of the prettiest lakes with many bays, soaring cliffs, gorgeous sand beaches and it’s dotted with many islands. Near the headwaters of the Trent System, the water is very clean. It sits next to Haliburton Forest and Wildlife which offers a plethora of activities for all 4 seasons.

Just a 30 minute drive to Haliburton for lots of restaurants and supplies Redstone is a great option for those looking for seclusion and peaceful cottaging.
